It’s bloody hot today, and I got up pretty late, so leaving going to the pub/Wickes until tomorrow.

I’ve been playing Far Cry Instincts Evolution on the Xbox today, it’s very good, although the graphics are a long way behind the 360.

I’ve also been playing Reservoir Dogs, which seems similar to Scarface.

Only 28 days of work left now! I’ve been putting in my last Ebuyer orders, some stuff for Phil, and a printer and some consumables for me and the folks.

Just watched Flags Of Our Fathers, which is really slow and boring, about the men who planted a flag at Iwo Jima in WWII.

Dad’s on IM now, so we all had a chat, I think they’re all going to get me a freezer tomorrow, as I really need somewhere to store food long-term when I’m in France for months at a time, especially as the local SuperU burned down.

Just watched Perfect Stranger, which had really bad reviews but I thought was alright – and the ending was genius!

Weather’s odd today, it was sunny about 7am, then cold by 8am, then raining cats’n’dogs by 1pm, then relatively warm by 5pm.

Just watched Breach, a great movie, based on the true story of the biggest breach in FBI security ever.

I’ve been playing Painkiller: Hell Wars, which is a very fast zombie-flick of a first person shooter game. There’s not any story it would seem, just very fast shooting!

Update: just watched Premonition, which was a really weird Groundhog Day kind of movie about a woman who keeps reliving the week her husband dies. Really crap ending.

I just watched Down With Love, which was pretty poor, and about an hour too long!

I went into town and got some flip-flops for the summer in France. They’re not needed here, it’s cold and raining in typical Bank Holiday fashion.

It seems Fedora 7 will be released at the end of the month, according to the revised schedule.
