I’ve been playing with the Linux applications extracxt-xiso and gXiso tonight. extract-xiso can create the proprietary Xbox ISO files from a directory of files, such as those FTP’ed from the Xbox hard disk. gXiso is a GUI for extracting that xiso back to files.

So the ~30Gb worth of backed-up Xbox files are now being converted back to xiso’s for burning to DVD-R in case of hard disk failure.

I just upgraded Daffyd to the 2.6.17-1.2174_FC5 kernel and the wireless networking issues (certain websites would fail to connect) seem to have been fixed.
