Tuesday?!

I can’t believe it’s only Tuesday, I keep thinking it’s Wednesday or Thursday.

I’ve just had a Bishop’s Finger dark ale, which was really nice, and the Wychwood Hobgoblin isn’t bad either.

I’ve spent most of today trying to hack the Sun server again, I still can’t do it even with various combinations of rollover cable, straight RJ45, DB9 and DB25 adaptors. I even tried Hydra on the RSC prompt, but it was going to take about six months to get through my wordlist! It seems Debian 4 for Sparc is not a full distro, or at least it’s only partially 64-Bit, so no advantage over x86_64 I guess.

I’ll probably go and see Nationwide on Saturday, to sort out what’s happening with my online banking and see if I can get a debit card. Looks like I’ll have to setup a new account using my Ipswich address and get my mail forwarded, which I’ll have to do for the RAC I guess anyway.

I’ve been playing Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance 2 on the Xbox lately, it’s pretty good, kind of a cross between an RPG like Dungeon’s & Dragons, and a beat-em-up like Streetfighter.
