I got my Xbox today, along with the wireless controller – which has aftershock. Its a really nice controller, better than the wired one that comes with the Crystal Xbox 1.6. I spent hours trying to figure out how to make it play NTSC games, and finally remembered something about disabling PAL60 in MS Live dash. Well it seems there is no way to get to the original MS dash with the Xecuter2 chip, but I managed to set the setting by installing the UnleashX dashboard (XBMC, EvoX and Avalaunch didn’t have the option).

I got a wireless controller for my new Xbox, also got NHL 2K7 and Flat Out 2 games. Weather’s gone crappy today, raining and cold. I just watched The Initiation Of Sarah, which was a kind of Charmed-meets-Sabrina thing, not great. Update: just watched Believers, which was a really crap movie about a cult, the ending was genius though! Also watched Trapped, which was a really bad kidnap/hacking flick.

I’ve got a bit of a stomach ache today, went to the pub for lunch yesterday and I forgot that last time I had the fish there I was ill. Just watched Good Luck Chuck, which was OK, about a guy who is always the boyfriend before “the one”. My landlord informed me the other day that he’s going away for a month and then bringing back his new wife!

Just got back from my weekend in Brighton, Nanny seems OK, we did some shopping, ate/drank too much, watched the rugby…. I got some photos of Amelia.

My sister gave birth to my neice Amelia today about 17:30 French time. She weighs about six pounds. She had the umbilical cord around her neck so came out blue like I did. I’m off to Nanny’s tomorrow after work, apparently Brighton is having better weather than Ipswich, but not as good as Chaillac.
