Bad Movie Sunday

I finished watching Blonde Ambition, which was so bad I had to watch it in two parts. Jessica Simpson was a bit scary – she seems to be unable to move her face or neck or something! Then I watched The Ten, which was a star-studded but utterly rubbish “comedy” – short stories about the Ten Commandments. I started watching Storm Warning, but it was looking like another “people wandering into the swamp and getting eaten by rednecks” flick and the two lead actors were really annoying.

Saturday

As an early birthday present treated myself to a 750Gb Samsung Spinpoint F1 hard disk. Got an SMS from CityLink saying it had arrived at the delivery branch (wow next day!) So I went to pick it up and apparently you can’t pick things up the same day they arrive at the branch, so got to wait until Monday now. So I’ll have over a terrabyte of storage in two of my PC’s alone!

Sunday

Just watched I Am Legend, which was good, but not as good as the hype. Also watched The Comebacks, a really bad comedy from the makers of Epic Movie, which was better. Weather’s better today – still cold, but quite sunny. Update: just watched Mr Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, which was a nice movie, bit of a naff ending though, certainly no Willy Wonka.

Friday/Saturday

Phil’s gone back to France now in his new Land Rover, complete with boot full of eBay and Tesco stuff and iffy fuel guage! We did finally cook some healthy food for ourselves and not eat out last night, a lovely chicken and some curry sauce. We both felt like we needed to detox from all the fast food. We’ve been doing some web application hacking at work the last couple of days, which is always fun 😉

Big update

Phil & I returned to England on Sunday 6th, not a bad drive, although I was essentially driving off-and-on for twelve hours, I then couldn’t get to sleep that night as I was so awake (we arrived back in Ipswich after 10pm). Monday 7th we were back at work, Phil in the B&B down the road from me. On the way to work I slid in the wet into the back of a Porsche Boxster, luckily no damage.
