The ADSL is up to 7.3Mbps today, oh and it looks like TalkTalk give a 40GByte limit (up and down) not 40Gbit. Bloody busy day at work today, we’ve been testing and writing-up like mad, still haven’t got the server setup though. I left tonight at just before 8pm, having got in at just after 8am. I went and picked up Pippa’s cellphone and found a good barber at lunch. I think the two of us who are in the office tomorrow will be having an easy breakfast before doing the most important job of the week – timesheets, expenses and invoices!

Looks like the ADSL where I’m renting has just got upgraded, I’m getting 6781/447 kbps! I got some more Xbox games and movies. Phil and I are going to get Pippa’s mobile phone tomorrow lunchtime before he goes to Germany/France. Update: my ADSL has a 40Gb limit, so better slow the downloading! Phil and I got Pippa’s phone, but left it in the shop, so I have to go get it tomorrow lunchtime, but too late to get it to France.

Saturday I spent with Phil, we went to a computer fair and I got a lovely case to replace the huge one in France, it’s got two 120mm fans and the side and front are mesh, so excellent airflow. We went to find some stuff at Halfords for Dad/Pip’s cars and went to PCWorld to get a U3 drive for me for work, then went to the pub for dinner to kill some time before the banger racing and fireworks.

Thank God the clocks went back this morning as I really didn’t want to get up at what I thought was 10am, but turned out to be 9am! It’s a lovely day here weather-wise, I’ve been out exploring the local neighbourhood – I’ve found the postbox, which is very well hidden down by the sales office for the development, so now I will be able to send my LoveFilm DVD’s back.

I’ve been exploring Ipswich a bit today, nothing particulary new, it’s just like Gloucester I guess, a bit more spread out, but the same shops – I even found Wilkinsons! Doesn’t seem to be a WHSmiths though, which means you can’t get the free DVD’s in the newspapers. The parking situation wasn’t bad at all – there’s two NCP’s by the shops at about a pound an hour, so not worth doing the park’n’ride crap.
